Wolverhampton Branch Severn Valley Railway Supporting the SVR since 1967 |
Following the EGM held on Saturday 27th September 2003, the Severn Valley Railway Wolverhampton Branch was given a mandate to revitalise interest in 7819 Hinton Manor. After negotiations with the SVR Rolling Stock Trust, it was decided that in the best interests of keeping (and running) the loco on the Severn Valley Railway, the Trust becomes the new custodians of the loco. The official hand-over was on Saturday 17th of April 2004 at Kidderminster Town station.To raise restoration funds, a finescale working model of 7819 Hinton Manor locomotive can be ordered. Bachmann Body, Comet loco chassis, Mainly Trains tender chassis and Markits detailing accessories. A limited edition of only 100 will be made.

If it is your choice to have Ultrascale wheels fitted with sprung hornblocks for driving axles, an additional cost of *£50 will be made. Contact will be made with the purchaser when the model is ready for collection.
Where postage is required, this will be charged at cost including insurance. *A basic deposit of £100 is required when ordering, with the balance payable on completion of the model, usually after six months.
